Edward Burlinson seemed to have some problems. On 4 Oct 1699 at a town meeting in Suffield it was voted that the town should take care of the maintenance of Edward Burlison. On 4 Sep 1703 it was agreed to put Burles the cripple, on the tryall with Goodman Smith of Hadley, to see if he could learn a trade, at town expense.
